TTBA Online Black Angler Fishing League:
Bylaws:
**Article 1: Name and Purpose**
**Section I. Name: ** The name TTBA (Team Trail Bass’n Association) Online Black Angler Fishing League (hereinafter you refer to as the league).
**Section 2. Purpose:** The purpose of the league is to:
*Promote the sport of fishing among black anglers.
*Create a community of black angers through online platforms.
*Provide a competitive and enjoyable fishing experience.
*Foster sportsmanship and ethical fishing practices.
*Support and advocate for black anglers in the fishing community.,
**Article II: Membership**
**Section 1. Eligibility:** Memberships in the league is open to all individuals who:
*Self-identify as Black or at least 18 years of age.
*Possess a valid fishing license (wherever applicable)
*Agree to abide by the league’s bylaws and rules.
**Section 2. Application:** Interested individuals may apply for membership by submitting a complete application form available on the league’s website.
**Section 3. Dues:** Membership is $45 to join and per year to be a member of the league and participation in events is an $35 entry fee and big fish is included.
**Article III: Administration**
**Section 1. Governing Body:** The league shall be governed by a Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”)
**Section 2. Board of Directors:** The Board shall consist of at least five (5) members elected by the league’s membership. Board members shall serve two years terms and may be re-elected.
**Section 3. Responsibilities of the Board:** The Board shall be responsible for:
*Establishing and enforcing the league bylaws and rules.
*Overseeing the leagues operations and finances
*Planning and organizing the events and tournaments.
*Promoting the league and is objectives period.
**Section 4. Executive Committee:** The Board shall appoint an executive committee consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
**Article IV: Competitions and Events**
**Section 1. Types of competitions:** The league may organize a variety of fishing competitions, including:
*Online tournaments using fishing simulators or virtual platforms.
*Live tournaments held at designated fishing locations.
*Catch and release competitions.
*Species specific tournaments.
**Section 2. Competition Rules:** Specific rules for each competition will be established by the Board and communicated to the members prior to the event by email.
**Section 3. Scoring and Awards:** The league will implement a system for scoring and determining winners in each competition. Prizes and awards may be provided to top-performing anglers.
**Article V: Conduct and Ethics**
**Section 1. Sportsmanship:** Members are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times during league events and online interactions.
**Section 2. Ethical fishing Practices:** All members must adhere to ethical fishing practices, including:
*Respecting catch limits and regulations.
*Using sustainable fishing methods.
*Releasing fish responsibly.
*Maintaining a clean and safe fishing environment.
**Section 3. Code of Conduct:** The league will establish a code of conduct outlining expected behavior for members which may include:
*Prohibited language and content in online forums
*Respectful interaction with other members.
*Fair play and adherence to tournament rules.
**Article VI: Amendments**
**Section 1. Amendments to Bylaws:** These bylaws may be amended by a two-third (2/3) vote of the league members ship president at a regular scheduled meeting, or a special meeting called for this purpose.
**Section 2. Notice of Amendment:** Proposed amendments to the bylaws must be submitted to the board at least thirty (30) days prior to the meeting at which they are to be considered.
**Article VII: Dissolution**
**Section 1. Dissolution:** The league may be dissolved by a two-third (2/3) vote of the league’s membership present at the meeting called for the purpose.
**Section 2. Distribution of Assets:** Upon dissolution, any remaining assets of the league shall be distributed to a nonprofit organization with a similar mission.
**Article VIII: Effective Date**
**Section 1. Effective Date:** These bylaws shall become effective upon their adoption by a majority vote of the league membership.
Rules and Regulations:
Introduction
The TTBA Online Black Angler Fishing League aims to foster community, competition, and camaraderie among black Anglers through a structured and friendly online fishing environment.
##Membership and Eligibility##
*Eligibility*: Membership is open to black anglers age 18 and above.
*Registration*: Participants must complete an online registration form and pay an applicable fees.
*Membership Types*: Members can join as individuals or as part of a team. All participants must be a paid member of the league in order to fish as an individual or a team.
*Conduct agreement*: All members must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the leagues.
##Fishing Rules##
*Legal Compliance*: All fishing activities must comply with local, state, and national fishing laws and regulations. Catch and release. Participants are encouraged to practice catch and release to promote conservation.
*Permitted Gear*: Only legal fishing gear is permitted. Specific tournaments may have additional gear restrictions.
*Species and Size limits*: Respect local species and size limits as defined by relevant authorities.
##Conduct and Sportsmanship##
*Respect and Integrity*: Members must demonstrate respect, integrity, and fair play.
*Communications*: Use of offensive language, harassment, or discrimination strictly prohibited.
##Tournament Regulations##
*Schedules*: Comments will be scheduled and announce in advance.
*Venue*: Specific venue fishing venues will be designated for each tournament.
*Submission of Catches*: Participants must submit proof of their catches as specified in the tournament guidelines (e.g., photos and videos.) Note: In all multi-species tournaments all fish must be weighed in or at the end of the tournament your bag will be disqualified (DQ).
* Verification*: Catches will be verified by league officials to ensure compliance with rules.
##Scoring system##
*Points Allocation*: Participants earn points based on the number size and species of fish caught (100 points for first place, 10 points for big fish and 5 points for bonus fish). The target points for Angler of the Year is 785.
*Leaderboard*: Scores will be maintained on an online leaderboard, updated regularly.
*Tie Breaking*: Tie will be broken based on the largest fish caught.
##Prizes and Awards##
*Prizes*: Prizes will be awarded for top finishers in each tournament as well as season long performance.
*Categories*: Awards may include categories such as Largest Fish, Most Catches, and Best Sportsmanship.
*Distribution*: Prizes will be distributed as per the guidelines mentioned at the start of each tournament.
##Dispute Resolutions##
*Filing Complaints*: Complaints must be filed within 24 hours of the incident.
*Review Process*: A committee of league officials will review disputes and make a final decision.
*Final Decisions*: The decision of the committee will be final and binding.
##Health and Safety##
*Personal Responsibility*: Members are responsible for their own safety and health during fishing activities.
*Weather Conditions*: Check weather conditions and avoid fishing and unsafe situations.
*Emergency Procedures*: Know the emergency procedures add contact information for local authorities.
##Amendments to Rules##
*Periodic Review*: Rules and regulations will be reviewed periodically.
*Members Input*: Members feedback is welcome and considered and reviewed.
*Announcements of Changes*: Any changes to the rules will be communicated to the members in a timely manner

Payments for membership can be made on the TTBA website all other payments such as entree fees will be done on the FishDonkey App. The FishDonkey App for the iPhone and Android is available on the tournament page of this website.
